Strategy is fairly straightforward. Wait for at least one or 2 epidemics if possible before rolling out infected. Spite and soulcatcher can provide plenty of quanta gen. Try to wait for spite or several infected before playing boneshield. Use plagues for CC, but as with infected, try to wait for epidemic first. Condors can provide some nice damage output and are useful if your opponent has purifies. May need some tweaking in terms of quanta production... Pends / pillars are most reliable but soulcater spite combo is incredibly useful as long as spite can punch through opponent's defenses.

I don't know if my tuning strayed so far that this is off topic for this thread The problem with Infected is that the flat damage becomes less useful as the AI hp increases, which is where your deck's stallier parts may shine. Probably best to fall back on the old tradition of "When in doubt, tack on 6 SoSas" Fun thing I ran into: if you play the tomb in a position after the Infected it copies, it'll attack that turn

Interesting point on the tombs. I would have built them in if I'd known.
Bonewall definitely seems to be a must for champs. They're still tough with it in, but without some kind of stalls its just too hard to ramp damage in time.
SoSac may do the trick as well, but they're tricky to use without some way to buff your max HPs... I'll have to start tweaking and see. Maybe I can fit an SoD in or something.
