I think Nightmare should be reflected too. Why not?
Maybe a smart shield + Give + Nightmares can be used as comby but cheap fractals.

Nightmare's damage is now reflected (ie caster drains their own life, & cards are still injected into victim's hand)

Yes. Though you take damage before healing, so it is possible to kill yourself
